One of Mr. Army’s first assignments was as a Maintenance Planner. Later during his tenure in the Nuclear industry, he established Planning and Scheduling Organizations at two major generating facilities. While working with the Nuclear Power Industry he helped develop methodologies and processes related to implementing the “Maintenance Rule.” In addition to his vast industry and client experience Mr. Army is actively involved in outside professional maintenance and engineering societies including the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) as an executive member, the Certifying Organization for SMRP (SMRPCO) as the Chairman and Lead for Work Management Question Development, the American Nuclear Society (ANS) as a member, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) as a member of the Process Industry group. Mr. Army often participates in and is accepted to present papers and workshops at professional society conferences including the SMRP Maintenance and Reliability Conference, the IIE Annual Conference, the ERTC Asset Maximization Conference, the INPO ( Prior to his work with SAMI, Mr. Army was involved with Yankee Atomic Electric as a Maintenance Planner, Consolidated Edison of New York as Maintenance Manager at Indian Point 1 & 2, and Sacramento Municipal Utility District as Maintenance Manager at Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Station.
