As a senior manager with SAMI, Mr. Thorne brings 38 years of business leadership and management consulting. Mr. Thorne has led the analysis, design and implementation phases of operationsand maintenance reliability improvement projects, in a broad spectrum of industries, at sites in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, a Master of Business degree in Operations Analysis from the University of Minnesota and a Doctoral certification in Organizational Sciences from Princeton University.
